CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN FOOD DIPS

From our many years in the industry, one of the secrets we have learned to a very successful Chocolate Fountain experience is a wide selection of dips for your guests to choose from. Many companies will limit you to a choice of 6 or 8. Some let you have more, but charge you extra for the privilege. Some will even tell you, that more choice for you and your guests will have a negative affect. This is their way of saying they can't be bothered and they clearly don't have the success of your event as their priority. We are not saying these companies are not good, all we are saying is that we go that much further than most other companies to make sure you get the best for your money.

At any event you will have a range of age groups and many people with different tastes in food. Many people like trying everything to find what they like best. Others like to try new things they have never tried before. Some are not very adventurous and stick with what they know.
It is very common for people using the fountain to say to us, "how amazing our selection of food dips is" or "this is a much better selection of food than other fountains I have used" and "the way you have displayed it looks fantastic". If you read through the nearly 80 references on our references page, you will see that our selection of food is praised time and time again. Remember, these are not words we have typed out, these are scans of actual references, so you can be confident the comments are not fake.
The quality of the foods used is also very important, just choosing the cheapest you can find is not going to give the best possible results. As with our chocolate, we will only use foods of a high quality that we would enjoying eating ourselves (we are very fussy).

With us, there is no need to choose from the list. We will provide a full range of dips as standard, which for most types of event will be a selection of at least 25 different foods. That's 3 or 4 times that of many of our competitors. We know that some items are more popular than others, so we supply larger quantities of the more popular items and less of the unusual items.

It's always worth remembering that when you are booking a chocolate fountain, that it's not just about what you like, it's about your guests taste in food as well and they may hate what you like and vice versa.

If there is a particular item that you like, that is not on the list, then let us know and we will do our utmost to provide it for you. There are some important things to remember when choosing dips, which some companies don't adhere to. The main one is, the item MUST be able to go on a skewer. Pretzels and biscuits for example, are used by some companies. This means, that people have to use their fingers to dip the item in the chocolate and they often, take a bit and dip it in again.
I must apologise for the next bit, as it does make you cringe a bit, but it does get our point over. A very large number of people do not wash their hands after visiting the loo. Especially at events where alcohol is being served. Even those that have washed their hands, they have touched the same door handles on the way out of the loo as the people who have not! Also, when you are standing there with the fountain, looking around the room you see people doing things like picking their nose, adjusting themselves or changing nappies.
All of this obviously causes hygiene issues, we therefore do not allow guests to use their fingers, they must use a skewer.
You have to ask yourself if a company does allow items that don't go on a skewer, if they have put enough thought in to hygiene?

It is extremely important that all fruit is washed and prepared before it is offered to your guests. It is quite common for companies to put strawberries out straight from the punnet. Again this is because they can't be bothered to spend the time doing it right. Having personally washed and prepared 1000's and 1000's of strawberries over the years, it is very common for there to be small insects hidden under the leaf part of the stalk. You also have to remember, that the strawberries have also been growing in a field somewhere in the UK, Morocco, Spain, Egypt, Mexico, Holland, etc. In that time, you do not know what has come in to contact with them or any fruit for that matter. Cutting the stalks off and washing the fruit is not optional, it's a must!
